1. What is odd about Hamlet’s appearance in the opening of scene two?
At the marriage he is wearing all black and is depressing looking because his father died and him mom married someone two months after the death. 
2. Explain (give at least two reasons) why Claudius needs to justify his marriage in the opening of scene two.
Claudius says that everyone is sad after his death but everyone dies and they have to move on. Second he says that no one objected from the marriage as well.
3. Laertes asks the King for leave to do what, specifically?
To go back to France, because he wants to go back and to go to Wittenburg
4. Explain Hamlet’s insult when he says, “A little more than kin and less than kind.”
He didn't want him to marry his mom because that was his fathers brother and now he thinks the blood in his family ruined
5. Explain Hamlet’s use of pun in the line, “Not so my lord, I am too much in the sun.”
He says he is in the sun to much but means he is Claudius's son to much.  
6. In Hamlet’s first soliloquy it is obvious that what troubles him most is?
That his mom married her dead husband's brother in two months. 
7. What does Hamlet mean by the following lines
“Seems, madam? Nay, it is. I know not ‘seems’.
‘Tis not alone my inky cloak, good mother,
Nor customary suits of solemn black,
Nor windy suspiration of forc’d breath,
No, nore the fruitful river in the eye,
Nor the dejected havior of the visage,
Together will all forms, moods, shapes of grief,
That can denote me truly. These indeed seem,
For they are actions that a man might play;
But I have that within which passes show,
These but the trappings and the suits of woe."
He is talking about how his clothes are depressing and how he doesn't like the weeding at all.
8. What does Hamlet say about the baked meats and the funeral and the wedding.
That the wedding food was the leftover funeral food from his dad's funeral 
9. What news does Horatio, Marcellus and Barnardo bring to Hamlet.
That they have seen his dad in a ghostly specter form in his armor
